Young Riders Overnight Camp
Dates: July 27-29 (Intermediate to advanced riders)
Drop off at 9 a.m.
The overnight camp will be more involved than the 4-day "day-camp" and is for riders with some previous riding experience. Here is a list of what to expect from the overnight camp...
+ formal riding lessons
+carriage driving lessons on experienced harness horses
+vaulting lessons (gymnastics on horseback)
+lessons on care, nutrition, and managing horses as well as trailering, shoeing, veterinary or medical care, etc
+horse trivia night
+ trail rides
+ moonlight ride
+ educational/round pen activities
+ 2 breakfasts, 3 lunches, and 2 dinners included
+ camping out in the barn BRING YOUR OWN HAMMOCK
+ games, etc
+ Campers can either ride an MHF horse or bring their own as long as they are very comfortable with their own horse. *Please let me know ahead of time if you are considering bringing your own horse, there will be an additional stabling fee of $50.
+Boys and girls are housed in separate barns with gender appropriate counselors who will stay with them overnight.
There will be a horse show for the parents at 2:00pm on the last day of camp. Campers will demonstrate their new skills, please plan to attend.

Horse Show for parents to attend starts at 2pm on Friday! Please plan to come watch the campers demonstrate their new skills

Camp Activities Include riding lessons every day, Carriage driving and wagon rides, feeding and caring for the horses, donkey, alpacas, goats, sheep, chickens, ducks, pig, and cats, and making a horsey art project to take home. Children learn valuable life skills and everyone always has a ton of fun! Campers range from timid children with no farm experience to seasoned riders. With our amazing staff and volunteers, we are able to supply a wonderful, safe environment at the barn during the 3 or 4 day long camps. Thanks to our sponsors, all campers get a free horse camp t-shirt or souvenir!
Spring Break Horse Camp
Dates: April 5-9, 2021
Age: 6-16 years old
Time: 9:00 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Don't call the babysitter this spring break, drop the kids off at the farm for some great horse entertainment, riding lessons, carriage driving, gymnastics on horseback, grooming sessions, barn work, easter egg hunts and a farm wide treasure hunt and fun with other MHF friends! The camp is all week but you can sign up on a day by day basis. Campers do need to pack a lunch, snacks, and water.
$75 per day

Free Family Fun Night!!
Sunday June 7
Come enjoy a night at the farm. Admission to this event is FREE. There will be food vendors, horse rides, carriage rides, games, face painting, a few local vendors and a free petting zoo.
*********ADMISSION TO THIS EVENT IS FREE HOWEVER THERE WILL BE TICKETS AVAILABLE TO PURCHASE FOR THE CARRIAGE RIDES, HORSE RIDES, AND GAMES. TICKETS SALES ARE CASH ONLY.

Lock-In at the Farm
Ages: 8-16 year olds
Date: June 22-23, 2021
Time: Drop off at 6pm, Pick up at 11am
The Lock-in at Mimosa Hills Farm is a shortened version of our overnight camp. We start the evening with an ice cream social then a fun riding event. Campers will sleep in the barn so pack a hammock and sleeping bag. In the morning campers will help care for the horses and end with a fun horse related activity before heading home. There are separate barns for boys and girls and appropriate counselors for each. Breakfast is provided.
- PACK WATER!! We try to be environmentally friendly by not providing bottled water to campers so please be sure to pack a reusable water bottle. We do have a refrigerator at the barn for water bottles and lunches.
- Bug Spray - Be aware that wasps and bees love barns. We try to keep them under control but if your child has a severe allergy please provide medication and be sure someone is shown how to use it.
- Boots or closed-toe shoes, This also applies to parents or baby sitters accompanying the Tiny Riders.
- Dress for the heat, shorts are encouraged.
